The ‘Guide’ Large Size Fly Tarp Tent is designed to provide essential shelter in the great outdoors – it is waterproof, lightweight, strong, versatile, durable, and it is packable into a small compact space. Whether it is intended to be your primary, or emergency backup shelter, its compactness and ultra-lightweight means it won’t take up much of your precious pack space. The Fly Tarp is manufactured from strong ripstop 40 Denier fabric treated with a dual silicone & polyurethane coating which gives it a remarkable waterproofness performance rating of 5000 mm hydrostatic resistance. Taped construction provides a very durable waterproof seal along factory seams. Its sixteen high strength perimeter webbing guy loops & a center tie point, will facilitate many different pitching configurations to suit your site and needs. Stitching is reinforced in key stress areas for maximum strength and durability. The ‘Guide’ Fly Tarp Tent will provide essential protection from rain and dew and it can also be configured to provide protection from the wind. These attributes sum to provide additional comfort and enjoyment on regular expeditions; and in extreme conditions they sum to survival essentials. The Fly Tarp can be pitched as a stand-alone shelter, and it can also be used in conjunction with our Bivy Bag or Hooped Bivy Bag to acquire additional protection from the elements. The ‘Guide’ Tarp Large Size, provides adequate cover for 1 – 4 persons. It measures approx. 2.99m x 3.91m fully extended yet it weighs just an incredibly light 800 grams in its own drawstring stuff sack. It has a packed size of 27cm x 13cm x 6.5 cm, and it can be compressed down to a very compact 17cm x 15cm x 12 cm. You can return an item you have purchased from us if it doesn't fit, or otherwise suit, provided it is returned within 10 days of receipt, unused, and in new, as packaged condition.
