This Waterproof Hooped Bivy has everything you need for lightweight camping. Protection from the outside elements is achieved by factory taped waterproof seams and a specially treated 70-D RipStop Nylon Upper boasting a Waterproofness performance rating of 10,000 mm Hydro-static Resistance, and a Breathability rating of 3,000 g/m2/day. It has an air-vent in the head section, and ‘Batwing’ stiffeners to elevate the footbed away from your feet, and enable air circulation. Loops on the Nylon Upper can be used to elevate the upper with guy lines, effectively increasing the capacity for airflow and comfort. Side zips enable the upper to be rolled down, and the insect proof mesh can be zipped up for a bug free night under the stars. If rain is expected, the upper can be easily zipped up, and a clear waterproof window within it will allow a view out. The tub floor bottom of the bag is made of a heavy duty waterproof, non breathable fabric, designed to function as a moisture and water barrier. Its design provides more usable space than most bivis, and its extra wide shoulder and footbed areas ensure you’ll have room to move around, read, have a snack, or change your clothes. It is long enough to comfortably accommodate anybody up to 6’6” (2 m). The Hooped Bivvi dimensions in use are 90cm (width) x 70cm (height) x 230cm (length). Quick & Easy Single Pole Set-Up is facilitated with the provided lightweight sectioned shock-corded Aluminum pole & 5 strong lightweight pegs. The Waterproof Hooped Bivy can be used as a standalone shelter, and it can also be used in conjunction with one of our Fly Tent Shelters to acquire additional protection from the elements. The Hooped Bivvy is extremely lightweight at approx. 39.5oz (1.1kg). It comes with its own drawstring stuff sack, and drawstring bags for the pegs and pole & its all packable down to a compact approx. 10cm dia. x 40cm. Colours available: Green, Sunset Orange.

You can return an item you have purchased from us if it doesn't fit, or otherwise suit, provided it is returned within 10 days of receipt, unused, and in new, as packaged condition. We will to your preference provide a credit for the goods, or provide an alternative. Please do let us know in advance of sending if you wish to return an item, so we can prepare accordingly.

We will usually dispatch the next business day following receipt of payment. Product will ship from our Wellington facility in New Zealand. We will send you an email to let you know your order has been dispatched. New Zealand delivery will usually be made within 1-2 business days of dispatch. The tracked shipping charge throughout New Zealand is $8.50 for any order size. If there is likely to be any delay we will contact you. 

Australia and Oceania standard shipping (3 - 10 working day delivery target) is $9.50 for any order size, and express shipping (3 - 5 working day delivery target) is $32.00 for any order size.
